Biography

Mr. Parsons focuses his practice on tax planning for business entities and individuals, tax-free mergers and acquisitions and executive compensation.

Accomplishments

Mr. Parsons served as the tax advisor on the creation of a joint venture to operate a large technological center. He also has been the tax advisor on numerous tax-free mergers of computer, software and communication companies. In addition, he has handled many sales of assets for clients, including a large medical products company.

Affiliations

Mr. Parsons is a member of the Denver, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas Bar Association. He was formerly the National Tax chair for the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys and is a lifetime member of the Greater Denver Tax Counsel Association. He has been involved in a wide range of civic and charitable organizations, including serving a twelve-year term on the National Governing Board of Common Cause, and has been active in the Greater Denver Chamber of Commerce and Mile High United Way.
