Mr. Lacis focuses his practice on intellectual property, media, and entertainment issues including trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, licensing, and contract drafting and negotiation. In his role as a corporate associate, he prosecutes trademark and copyright registrations, counsels clients on trademark strategies, drafts privacy policies and website agreements, and drafts and negotiates licensing agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and entertainment contracts. As a litigation associate, Mr. Lacis handles various intellectual property, privacy, and complex commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Lacis is an active member of the Colorado Bar association, and serves as a member of the Executive Council for the Young Lawyers Division. He is also a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Colorado and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Lacis loves the outdoors and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their golden retriever Haley.
